Hi, I'm Kate.

I work at the intersection of tech, privacy, art, and organizing.

Bringing a scrappy background in nonprofit to mission-driven tech projects, I have a deep passion for bringing people from different areas of expertise together to build for a better future. Currently I'm running a digital security fund for abortion access organizations.

In my free time I engage on a variety of multidisciplinary civic tech projects as a project manager, volunteer, activist, and artist. I’m especially interested in ways that artistic methods can interrogate use of AI-driven computer vision, other analytical technologies in surveillance, and related intersections with our civil rights.

I can often be found conducting independent computer vision research, building local scientific community, designing, hacking, and fundraising for abortion access.
